The short version
Telcoo works entirely on your device. Pair lookups, cable counts, and your settings never leave your iPhone or iPad. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking, and we don't run a server that receives anything from the App.
The only time information goes anywhere is when you choose to buy Premium (handled by Apple) or email us for support (you see and send the message yourself).

Overview
This policy explains how Buknal Enterprise LLC ("we," "us") handles information in the Telcoo – Cable Pair Tool iPhone and iPad app ("the App"). It applies only to the App, not to other apps we publish or to websites we don't operate.
Telcoo has no user accounts. You don't register, and you don't give us a name, an email address, or a password to use it. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
What stays on your device
The App converts pair numbers to color codes, and color codes back to pair numbers, using the North American color code standard built into the App. Those calculations happen on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
A small amount of information is saved locally so the App works the way you left it:
- Cable counts you enter (a starting and ending pair number), so you can reuse them later;
- Preferences, such as how results are displayed and whether you have finished onboarding;
- Premium status, so the App knows which features are unlocked;
- A counter used to decide when to show Apple's standard "Rate this app" prompt.
None of this includes your name, location, contacts, or anything about the customers or sites you work on. It stays in the App's storage on that device.
What we don't collect
The App contains no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising software, and it doesn't use tracking identifiers. Specifically, the App does not collect or request:
- Your location;
- Access to your camera, microphone, photos, or contacts;
- Usage statistics about which features you use;
- Device identifiers for tracking you across apps or websites.
Apple separately lets you share crash and usage reports with app developers under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. If you turn that on, Apple may provide us aggregated, anonymous crash reports. You can turn it off at any time.
Premium purchase
Telcoo is free to download and offers an optional one-time Premium purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. To confirm that Premium is unlocked, the App asks Apple's StoreKit for your purchase record on the device. We receive only anonymized sales reports from Apple, and we never see your name, card number, billing address, or Apple Account details.
The App also checks the original App Store record of your download so that customers who bought earlier paid versions of the App keep Premium features without paying again.
Contacting support
If you tap Contact Support, the App opens a draft email in your mail app addressed to [email protected]. The draft includes the App version and build, your iOS version, and your device model, to help us troubleshoot. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and you can edit or delete any of that information first.
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems you report, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Apple services
The App is distributed through the App Store, and purchases, refunds, and the "Rate this app" prompt are handled by Apple. Apple processes that information under the Apple Privacy Policy. The App uses no other third-party services.
Deleting your data
Because your information lives on your device, you control it directly:
- Clear saved cable counts inside the App.
- Delete the App to remove everything it stored on that device.
- Your Premium purchase stays with your Apple Account, so reinstalling and tapping Restore on the upgrade screen unlocks it again.
Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of it. Ask us and we'll delete your correspondence.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, under laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the UK, and the CCPA/CPRA in California.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by these laws. Because the App collects nothing that identifies you, the only personal information we might hold is a support email you sent. Write to us and we'll respond within the time the applicable law requires.
Children's privacy
Telcoo is rated 4+ but is a professional tool for telephone technicians and cable splicers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Information stored by the App is protected by iOS and by your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Purchases are verified through Apple's signed StoreKit transactions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. If a future version begins collecting any information, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that version is released. The revised policy takes effect when posted on this page, with a new "Last updated" date above.
