The short version
TimeConvertR works entirely on your device. The times you convert and your display settings never leave your iPhone or iPad. The App has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking, and it makes no network connections of its own.
Information goes somewhere only when you choose to email us, and you see and send that message yourself.
| Information | Where it goes | Identifies you? |
|---|---|---|
| Times you enter and convert | Calculated on your device, not saved or sent | Never sent to us |
| Display settings | Your device only | Never sent to us |
| Feedback emails you choose to send | Our support inbox | Only what you send |
Overview
This policy explains how Buknal Enterprise LLC ("we," "us") handles information in the TimeConvertR iPhone and iPad app and its Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets (together, "the App"). It applies only to the App, not to other apps we publish or to websites we don't operate.
TimeConvertR has no user accounts. You don't register, and you don't give us a name, an email address, or a password to use it. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
What stays on your device
The App converts times between the 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour formats, shows the current time in both, and includes a reference chart. Every conversion happens on your device using its clock and built-in formatting. The times you enter are not saved or transmitted.
A small amount of information is saved locally so the App works the way you left it:
- Display preferences, such as the time formats you've chosen;
- The App version that last showed Apple's standard "Rate this app" prompt, so you aren't asked more than once per version.
None of this includes your name, your location, or anything else about you. It stays in the App's storage on that device.
The widget
The widget shows the current time in both formats, read from your device's clock. It doesn't fetch anything from the internet and doesn't send anything anywhere.
What we don't collect
The App contains no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising software, and it doesn't use tracking identifiers. Specifically, the App does not collect or request:
- Your location or time zone;
- Access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or calendar;
- Usage statistics about which features you use;
- Device identifiers for tracking you across apps or websites.
Apple separately lets you share crash and usage reports with app developers under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. If you turn that on, Apple may provide us aggregated, anonymous crash reports. You can turn it off at any time.
Contacting us
If you tap Send Feedback on the About screen, the App opens a draft email in your mail app addressed to [email protected], with the App version in the subject line. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
Links on the About screen to write a review, share the App, or read this policy open the App Store, the iOS share sheet, or your browser. Anything that happens there is handled by Apple or by the app you share with, not by us.
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems you report, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Apple services
The App is distributed through the App Store, and downloads, any purchases or refunds, and the "Rate this app" prompt are handled by Apple. Apple processes that information under the Apple Privacy Policy. The App uses no other third-party services.
Deleting your data
Because the App's information lives on your device, you control it directly. Delete the App to remove everything it stored on that device. You can download it again from the App Store at any time.
Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of it. Ask us and we'll delete your correspondence.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, under laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the UK, and the CCPA/CPRA in California.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by these laws. Because the App collects nothing that identifies you, the only personal information we might hold is an email you sent us. Write to us and we'll respond within the time the applicable law requires.
Children's privacy
TimeConvertR is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Information stored by the App is protected by iOS and by your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. No method of storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. If a future version begins collecting any information, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that version is released. The revised policy takes effect when posted on this page, with a new "Last updated" date above.
